21st Licensing round

15.04.2011 The Ministry of Petroleum and Energy has awarded new production licences in the 21st licensing round on the Norwegian shelf. 29 companies were offered participation in 24 new production licences.

04.11.2010 When the application deadline for the 21st licensing round on the Norwegian shelf expired on 3 November, 37 companies had submitted applications.

23.06.2010 On 23 June 2010, the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy (MPE) announced the 21st licensing round encompassing 94 blocks/parts of blocks, of which 43 are in the Norwegian Sea and 51 in the Barents Sea.

06.04.2010 On April 16th 2010 the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy sent blocks nominated for announcement on a public consultation process.

20.01.2010 The Ministry of Petroleum and Energy has received proposals from 43 companies regarding which blocks the companies believe should be included in the 21st licensing round on the Norwegian shelf.
