The NPD's Fact-pages version 1 (a part of the NPD's FactWEB family)

Here you find a lot of updated facts regarding the activity on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. You will also find data files (in csv format) which can be downloaded and used in databases, spreadsheet applications or other applications. In addition you will find map files (in shape format) which can be downloaded and used in your own GIS applications.

Other tools in the NPD's FactWEB family

All these tools use the same data sources (NPD databases) which means that they are consistent regarding content. The data sources are updated on a daily basis by the NPD's Data Management staff. The tools in the NPD's FactWEB family are automatically updated and published on the internet every day.

2D map tool with functionality for producing high quality maps in PDF format which is suitable for technical use. It also contains a FactMapSearch engine which you can implement on your own intranet or internet site. Behind the scene this tool also offers a WebMapService which makes it very easy to use the available map layers in your own GIS tools (also WEB based GIS tools on intranet or internet).	Under development. Will replace the NPD's FactPages version 1. This tool contains some new data which is not published on the NPD's FactPages version 1.	Excellent tool for visualization and presentations in 3D. Requires that you have installed Google Earth on your PC (click here for help).

From the NPD's FactMaps (click here for help) you can use the 'information tool' and then click on a map object in the active layer to open the FactPage version 1 for this object.
From the NPD's FactPages version 1 you can click on the 'map' button at the top of the factpage to open the FactMap for this object.
From the NPD's FactPages version 2 you can click on the 'map' link in the active page view to open the FactMap for this object.
From the NPD's FactGlobe you can click on a object to open the 'information bubble' and then click on the 'FactPage' link to open the FactPage version 1 for this object.
