Updated image for the NPD
The NPD’s visual image and graphic identity have been revamped. The visual identity is based on the NPD’s experience spanning more than 50 years, contributing to create maximum value for the broader society from the oil and gas industry on the Norwegian shelf.
The video shows parts of the new visual identity.
Among other things, these 50 years are reflected with 50 lines in the graphic profile, as a running theme.
“With this updated visual identity we want to highlight the NPD as a modern and relevant specialist directorate,” says Ola Anders Skauby, Director of communication, public affairs and emergency response.
“The NPD has a long, proud history as a resource authority with solid knowledge about the subsurface on the Norwegian shelf. The identity will reflect this while at the same time showing that the NPD’s tasks have expanded to include CO2 storage, offshore wind and seabed minerals,” says Skauby.
As a specialist directorate, the NPD shall be the preferred source of facts about the Norwegian shelf. We will continue to deliver on our civic mission with the highest levels of professional integrity.
