11/07/2002 Press release no. 31/2002: The petroleum production in May was 22.2 million standard cubic metre oil equivalents (Sm3 o.e.) - oil production approximately 14.9 million Sm3 o.e. , marketable gas approximately 5.5 million Sm3 o.e. and 1.8 million Sm3 o.e. NGL and condensate.

The average daily production was about 3 028 000 barrels oil, about 194 000 barrels NGL and about 172 000 barrels condensate.

So far this year the total production is about 108.7 million Sm3 o.e. Oil production approx. 72.9 million Sm3 o.e., condensate and NGL about 8.0 million Sm3 o.e., and marketable gas about 27.8 million Sm3 o.e.

Preliminary production figures from the Norwegian continental shelf, June 2002

Preliminary production figures show an average daily production of about 2 934 000 barrels oil. Final figures will be published in the beginning of August.


Production in the first six months of  2002

Final figures from January to May and preliminary figures from June show an average daily production of about 3.02 mill. barrels oil.
