10/08/2004 Press release 15/2004: Production figures from the Norwegian continental shelf, June 2004During the month of June 20.9 million standard cubic meters of oil equivalents (Sm3 o.e.) were produced. This is 2.8 million Sm3 o.e. higher than during June 2003.
The average daily production was about 2 885 000 barrels oil, about 198 300 barrels NGL and about 181 500 barrels condensate.
Production of oil and gas from the Norwegian Continental shelf is stabile. So far this year the total production is about 135.1 million Sm3 o.e. This is 5.0 million Sm3 o.e. more than in the same period last year. During this time frame, approx. 83.8 million Sm3 oil has been produced, only 0.6 percent lower than the NPD prediction for the same period.
Preliminary production figures show an average daily production of about 2.924 million barrels oil for July 2004. Final figures will be published in the beginning of September 2004.
