10/02/2006 Press release 5/2006: During the month of December 23.1 million standard cubic meters of oil equivalents (Sm3 o.e.) were produced. This is 0.2 million Sm3 o.e. higher than during December 2004 and 1.3 million Sm3 o.e. higher than the previous month.
The average daily production was about 2 513 000 barrels oil, about 311 400 barrels NGL and about 171 200 barrels condensate.
The total production in 2005 was about 257.2 million Sm3 o.e. This is 6.8 million Sm3 o.e. less than in the same period last year.
Production is lower due to production stoppage and technical problems on several fields.
Preliminary production figures for January 2006 shows a increase in oil production. Average daily production is about 2.584 million barrels oil and 0.452 million barrels NGL and condensate. Final figures will be published in the beginning of March 2006.
