07/04/2006 Press release 11/2006: During the month of February 20.5 million standard cubic meters of oil equivalents (Sm3 o.e.) were produced. This is 0.3 million Sm3 o.e. lower than during February 2005.
The average daily production was about 2 436 000 barrels oil, about 310 000 barrels NGL and about 184 000 barrels condensate.
So far this year the total production is about 43.3 million Sm3 o.e. This is identical with the same period last year.
Preliminary production figures show an average daily production of about 2.410 million barrels oil and 0.508 million barrels NGL and condensate for March 2006. Final figures will be published in the beginning of May 2006. Visund was shut-in during the whole month. Both the Ekofisk and Vigdis fields were shut-in several days during March. Ringhorne Øst started production on March 19.
Based on preliminary data from the first quarter of 2006, actual oil production is 0.9 percent higher than the NPDs estimate given in Desember 2005.
