09/05/2006 Press release 14/2006: During the month of March 22.3 million standard cubic meters of oil equivalents (Sm3 o.e.) were produced. This is 1.2million Sm3 o.e. lower than during March 2005.
The average daily production was about 2 439 000 barrels oil, about 296 000 barrels NGL and about 171 000 barrels condensate.
So far this year the total production is about 65.6 million Sm3 o.e. This is 0.4 million Sm3 o.e. less than in the same period last year.
Preliminary production figures show an average daily production of about 2.216 million barrels oil and 0.480 million barrels NGL and condensate for April 2006. Low production in april is due to planned maintenence on Kvitebjørn, Njord, Skirne, Snorre and Vigdis together with the fact that Visund was shut-in during the whole month. Final figures will be published in the beginning of June 2006.
Please note that the table with updated production figures for the Norwegian shelf has been moved to the NPDS's fact-pages. The overview shows complete history per field and total production per month and year.
