11/07/2007 Press release 27/2007: During the month of May 18.9 million standard cubic metres of oil equivalents (Sm3 o.e.) were produced. This is 2,3 million Sm3 o.e. lower than during May 2006.
The average daily production was about 2 124 000 barrels of oil, about 281 000 barrels of NGL (Natural Gas Liquids) and about 57 000 barrels of condensate, in total of 2 461 000 barrels liquid.
So far this year the total production is about 102.3 million Sm3 o.e. This is 4.5 million Sm3 o.e. less than in the same period last year.
Preliminary production figures show an average daily production of about 1.880 million barrels of oil and 0.289 million barrels of NGL and condensate for June 2007. The reduced production in June is a result of planned maintenance activities on several fields.
Final figures will be available in the beginning of August 2007.
Please note that updated production figures for the Norwegian continental shelf can be found at NPDS’s fact-pages. The overview shows complete history per field and total production per month and year.
