11/09/2013 Preliminary production figures for August 2013 indicate an average daily production of about 1 819 000 barrels of oil, NGL and condensate.
This is 165 000 barrels per day (about 8 percent) less than in July 2013. Total gas sales were about 7.3 billion Sm3, which is 1,9 GSm3 less than the previous month.
The average daily liquid production in August was: 1 478 000 barrels of oil, 273 000 barrels of NGL and 68 000 barrels of condensate.
The following fields had reduced production in August due to planned maintenance work: Alvheim, Gaupe, Hyme, Njord, Troll A, Vilje and Volund.
So far this year the oil production is about 0.3 percent above the NPD’s prognosis.
The total petroleum production for the first eight months in 2013 is about 143.5 million standard cubic meters oil equivalents. (MSm3 o.e.), broken down as follows: about 56.9 MSm3 o.e. of oil, about 14.8 MSm3 o.e. of NGL and condensate and about 71.9 MSm3 o.e. of gas for sale. The total oil volume is 4.9 MSm3 o.e.. This is about 8 percent less than for the same period in 2012.
Final production figures from July 2013 show an average daily production of about 1.578 million barrels of oil, 0.406 million barrels of NGL and condensate and a total of 9.2 billion Sm3 saleable gas production.
