14/08/2013 Preliminary production figures for July 2013 indicate an average daily production of about 1 959 000 barrels of oil, NGL and condensate.
This is 251 000 barrels per day (about 15 percent) more than in June 2013. Total gas sales were about 9.2 billion Sm3, which is 0,9 GSm3 more than the previous month.
The average daily liquid production in July was: 1 576 000 barrels of oil, 311 000 barrels of NGL and 72 000 barrels of condensate.
The following fields had reduced production in July due to various technical problems: Oseberg, Skuld, Ula, Valhall and Vigdis. But high production from several other fields secured that the oil production in July was the highest since May 2012, and so far this year the oil production is about 0.5 percent below the NPD’s prognosis.
The total petroleum production for the first seven months in 2013 is about 127.1 million standard cubic meters oil equivalents. (MSm3 o.e.), broken down as follows: about 49.5 MSm3 o.e. of oil, about 13.0 MSm3 o.e. of NGL and condensate and about 64.6 MSm3 o.e. of gas for sale. The total oil volume is 4.8 MSm3 o.e. (about 9 percent) less than for the same period in 2012.
Final production figures from June 2013 show an average daily production of about 1.321 million barrels of oil, 0.387 million barrels of NGL and condensate and a total of 8.3 billion Sm3 saleable gas production.
