11/04/2014 Preliminary production figures for March 2014 indicate an average daily production of about 1 913 000 barrels of oil, NGL and condensate.
This is 37 000 barrels per day (about 2 percent) less than in February 2014.
Total gas sales were about 10.5 billion Sm3, which is 1.3 GSm3 more than the previous month.
The average daily liquid production in March was: 1 523 000 barrels of oil, 326 000 barrels of NGL and 63 000 barrels of condensate. The oil production is 1 percent below the NPD’s prognosis for March and 6 percent above the oil production in March last year.
The following fields had reduced production in March due to technical problems/repair work: Oseberg Sør, Skuld and Volve.
The Gudrun field came on stream on April the 7th.
So far this year the oil production is on level with the NPD’s prognosis.
The total petroleum production for the first three months in 2014 is about 57.3 million standard cubic meters oil equivalents. (MSm3 o.e.), broken down as follows: about 22.0 MSm3 o.e. of oil, about 5.7 MSm3 o.e. of NGL and condensate and about 29.6 MSm3 o.e. of gas for sale. The total oil volume is 1.2 MSm3 o.e., about 6 percent higher than for the same period in 2013.
Final production figures from February 2014 show an average daily production of about 1.539 million barrels of oil, 0.411 million barrels of NGL and condensate and a total of 9.2 billion Sm3 saleable gas production.
