14/10/2014 Preliminary production figures for September 2014 indicate an average daily production of about 1 834 000 barrels of oil, NGL and condensate.
This is 16 000 barrels per day (about 1 percent) less than in August 2014. Total gas sales were about 7.9 billion Sm3, which is 0.6 GSm3 more than the previous month.
The average daily liquid production in September was: 1 472 000 barrels of oil, 285 000 barrels of NGL and 76 000 barrels of condensate. The oil production is 2.5 percent above the NPD’s prognosis for September and 10 percent above the oil production in September last year.
The Alvheim, Draugen, Ekofisk, Oseberg Sør, Skuld, Svalin, Valhall, Vilje and Volund fields had reduced production in September due to maintenance and technical problems.
So far this year the oil production is about 2 percent above the NPD’s prognosis and about 2 percent higher than for the same period in 2013.
The total petroleum production for the first nine months in 2014 is about 158.5 million standard cubic meters oil equivalents. (MSm3 o.e.), broken down as follows: about 64.3 MSm3 o.e. of oil, about 16.9 MSm3 o.e. of NGL and condensate and about 77.2 MSm3 o.e. of gas for sale.
Final production figures from August 2014 show an average daily production of about 1.495 million barrels of oil, 0.355 million barrels of NGL and condensate and a total of 7.3 billion Sm3 saleable gas production.
