19/12/2018 Preliminary production figures for November 2018 show an average daily production of 1 880 000 barrels of oil, NGL and condensate, which is an increase of 22 000 barrels per day compared to October.
Total gas sales were 10.2 billion Sm3 (GSm3), which is a decrease of 0.3 GSM3 from the previous month.
Average daily liquids production in November was: 1 500 000 barrels of oil, 351 000 barrels of NGL and 29 000 barrels of condensate.
Oil production for November is about 4 percent below the NPD’s forecast for the month and about 4.5 percent below the forecast for 2018.
The main reasons that production in November was below forecast is the shut down of the Sture oil terminal and the Kollsnes gas processing plant after a collision between a crude tanker with a military wessel and technical problems on some fields.
The total petroleum production for the first eleven months in 2018 is about 209,2 million Sm3 oil equivalents (MSm3 o.e.), broken down as follows: about 78.8 MSm3 o.e. of oil, about 19.5 MSm3 o.e. of NGL and condensate and about 110.9 MSm3 o.e. of gas for sale.
The total volume is 8.6 MSm3 o.e. lower than in 2017.
