Breakfast meeting for young employees
05/04/2011 On Wednesday, 13 April, the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD) is inviting young employees to breakfast and a lecture on resource management on the Norwegian shelf.
The event is one of the activities sponsored by Ung Energi, which is a meeting place for oil industry employees under the age of 35. The Norwegian Petroleum Society (NPF) and the Norwegian Oil Industry Association (OLF) support the project.
Director general Bente Nyland will open the breakfast with a short history of the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate. Following this, young employees will present the history of fields on the Norwegian shelf, from discovery to shutdown.
The meeting will take place at the NPD’s offices at Professor Olav Hanssens vei 10, from 07:45 until 09:15. Breakfast and participation are free.
