    14/03/2019 The Ministry of Petroleum and Energy has 9 May 2018 announced the APA 2018, comprising the predefined areas with blocks in the North Sea, the Norwegian Sea and the Barents Sea.

    14/03/2019 The authorities have received applications from 38 companies in the Awards in Predefined Areas (APA) 2018. The application deadline expired on 4 September.

  • Record licence awards in APA 2018

    14/03/2019 Today, 15 January, 33 companies have been offered ownership interests in a total of 83 production licences on the Norwegian Shelf in the Awards in Predefined Areas (APA) 2018. This is the largest number ever awarded in one licensing round.
