Geir Ivan Tangen is a Drilling and Well Control Advisor with Lundin Norway AS and is happy to share a wealth of experience from 40 years of being at the heart of offshore drilling operations in the U.S., the North Sea and the Norwegian Continental Shelf. He holds a BSc in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Stavanger.

Preliminary production figures for December 2021 show an average daily production of 2 108 000 barrels of oil, NGL and condensate
Record-high revenues from the Norwegian shelf
The combination of high production of oil and gas from a total of 94 fields, significant demand and high commodity prices led to a historically high level on the State's export revenues from petroleum. Much of this is due to record-high gas prices.
