IOR seminar at ONS
17/08/2018
The NPD’s IOR prize is awarded at ONS. The prize, which is awarded every other year at ONS, goes to production licences, companies, projects or individuals who are expected to create added value on the Norwegian Continental Shelf through innovative work linked to improved recovery of oil and gas.
The finalists for this year’s prize are the Alvheim field in the North Sea, the technology company Resman and professor emeritus at the University of Stavanger, Svein Magne Skjæveland. The Prize will be presented by Director general in the NPD, Bente Nyland.
The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate is dedicated to ensuring that all profitable resources are produced from the fields. On this background, the IOR prize was established in 1998.
On Tuesday, 28 August, ONS and the NPD are inviting participants to an IOR seminar at ONS. Here the NPD and the finalists will present their viewpoints on improved recovery based on their different points of departure
The IOR seminar will take place in Hall 10 (DnB Arena), 2nd floor, stage 5 from 10:00-12:00.Everyone with a ticket to the exhibition has access to the seminar. Welcome to all!
