Welcome to the presentation
31/05/2018
The report presents an updated estimate for undiscovered resources on the Norwegian shelf and an analysis of the profitability of exploration, among other things.
One of the conclusions is that there are enough resources on the Norwegian shelf for many more decades of production, and that exploration is profitable on the entire shelf.
The report will be presented by exploration director Torgeir Stordal at the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate’s office, in the Valhall meeting room, at Ullandhaug in Stavanger.
After the presentation of the report there will be a discussion on future exploration on the Norwegian shelf.
The following people will participate in the discussion: Exploration manager Halvor Jahre from Lundin, exploration manager Gro G. Haatvedt from Aker BP, senior advisor Jørn Ramberg from Equinor and Torgeir Stordal from the NPD.
Date: Thursday, 21 June at 10:00.
The presentation will be held in Norwegian, and will be streamed live on npd.no
Light refreshments will be served. The event will conclude at 12:30.
Due to the parking situation at the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate’s office, we encourage you to use public transportation.
